An interesting perspective. I agree spending and acquiring things got out of hand and that is one of the positive impacts of the recession - or no job. We all should do a better job of reduce, recyle or reuse. I know we're buying a lot less lately.
I know we have reached a point in our lives where we have realized less is more. We try to donate things we don't need or use and we are looking for ways to do more. We definitely do not shop anymore. See no money helps the earth;)haha
We are having a garage sale today in the hopes of reusing/recycling some of our stuff! It's nice to see some things continue to be useful to others, versus sitting in some landfill!
