Memphis Zoo

The Memphis Zoo was a really wonderful place. I think it rates #1 for our Zoo adventures this year.
And with our going to 4 Zoos in 4 states, that is saying something.
It had lions (which we even witnessed roaring),
polar bears (which we saw being fed), hippo's (which we also saw being fed,it wasn't pretty!.)
and such cute penguins. The sea lion show was great as well. The girls loved it.
Check out the animals that look a lot like Lainey and Grampy.
I guess the question is now, which zoo next?

Lainey's B-day

Such a sweet natured and beautiful 1 year old.
She loved the candies on her cupcakes, and
apparently the trauma of birthday cakes is minor now. lol
Chucky Cheese was a hit I think the kids, all 4 of them, (guess which 4 of us;) )
were very entertained.
It was very worth the drive if only for the squeezes!

Leecy T's hospital stay....

Now that we are back in the world of modern technology after being absent for a few weeks, I thought I would post a few pics of Aleece's hospital stay. Ever the pleasant patient, she complied with every request, with very little hesitation. All of the hospital staff commented on how awesome of a patient she was, especially for being only 3!!! We are so glad she is finally feeling better! Being in the hospital is no fun! You can only take so much of their food and atmosphere, before you get stir crazy!


Attatched to what seemed like a zillion different machines, it was a huge pain to unhook everything to get her to the bathroom. Thanks to her IV this was usually about once an hour!

MHS win over Brookings SD

It was a match of The Mud Wrestling maniacs vs the Drowned Rats!
The rain was coming down sideways from the crazy wind.
If you look close there are fanatic fans in rain gear in the back cheering Trey on.
He scored two touchdowns and had a great game again.

Trey--way to rock the house at tonight's game against Worthington! The radio station said "we could talk about Trey Welch all night!" 3 touchdowns and over 100 yds! You are AWESOME!!! We are SOOOOOOOO proud of you! Keep up the good work! We wish we could have been there! Never forget how proud of you we all are!

According to Marshall football coach Terry Bahlmann, the Tigers currently stand third in the Section 2AAAA points standings.

Willmar (5-0) is first followed by Hutchinson (4-1) and Marshall (5-0).

This week, the Tigers moved up to No. 10 in the Class 4A state rankings.

Marshall’s two fullbacks, Trey Welch and Bryce Cable, have formed a solid 1-2 running punch. Each player has scored five touchdowns.

Welch has carried 45 times for 368 yards (8.2 yards per carry).

Cable has carried 49 times for 313 yards (6.4 yards per carry).
