Marshall 35 Luverne 0
Sometimes in sports, one team’s dominance is so complete and the victory so one sided, that even I tend to feel a little bad for the loosing team. Unless of course it is Utah totally dominating BYU, then I just think it’s funny. (Sorry Mary). Such was the utter pounding delivered to the hapless Cardinals of Luverne High School by the Marshall Tigers on Friday night. Lead by their captain Clay Welch – the Tiger defense allowed only 91 yards of total offense the entire game – a measly 5 first downs, (4 of the 5 first downs came in the fourth quarter - after Marshall decided to give their starters a rest). In other words, it was total, complete, and utter domination by Marshall. Click here for the news coverage.

Go Tigers! It's going to be a great season and we can't wait to see Clay and Trey in action.
It was a great one to watch! Clay lead the defense beautifully. Trey even played linebacker in the last quarter in his first ever varsity game as a sophmore! The Welch brothers dominated!! GO TIGERS!
love (impartially of course!) M<3
PS Great picture, Eric!
