(Our) Prayer
All of our hearts and prayers are with Grandpa and the family tonight, I'm sure. He started to sing us his favorite song tonight, but couldn't get through but a few words... I thought I would share the lyrics with you. This was the song him and Grandma danced to at their wedding and it touched the hearts of all of us in the room when he actually began to sing tonight through all of his pain.
My Prayer
The Platters
When the twilight is gone and no songbirds are singing
When the twilight is gone you come into my heart
And here in my heart you will stay while I pray
My prayer is to linger with you
At the end of the day in a dream that's divine
My prayer is a rapture in blue
With the world far away and your lips close to mine
Tonight while our hearts are aglow
Oh tell me the words that I'm longing to know
My prayer and the answer you give
May they still be the same for as long as we live
That you'll always be there at the end of my prayer
Sleep well tonight Grandpa... Our prayers are with you.

Gpa Update
I thought I'd give a quick gpa update.
He was having a rougher day today, he had been given a laxative and it worked too much.
Plus they removed the catheter and he is in a lot of pain. He is having a hard time urinating.
Hopefully the swelling will go down soon and he can get past this painful set back.
His scar is healing well and that's good news.
Hope you are all having a Happy Holiday Season-miss you!

A Christmas Miracle
I tried to think of something I could do for Christmas from me to all of you.
Since I don't get a paycheck I did what I consider a Christmas Miracle...
I went to the Doctor yesterday!
I had hip x-rays, where they discovered I have
severe arthritis which means bone rubbing bone, no stuff in between.
So now I have to go to an orthopedic doctor.
She did prescribe pain meds.
She also put me on high blood pressure meds
and an anti depressant.
I have a follow up appointment on January 3rd.
I get the rest of the blood work tests sometime today.
I am so proud of myself. hahaha
Lame gift but
MERRY CHRISTMAS from ME!

It's a boy!
Well we made an addition to the family on Friday.... We adopted a phantom poodle the named Troy. His full name is TROY AIKMAN THE OREO QUATERBACK MOORE! :) We love names! I will post some pictures tonight of him when I get home! He is still cut like a poodle but we are growing his hair out! He is black and white and weighs about 12 pounds! He has the sweetest face... I love you all!
Thanks for all your Love and Support
We wanted to let each of you know how grateful we are for all
the love and support you always show us. In this crazy housing market especially in Marshall, we appreciate the time and effort taken to fast and pray in behalf of the MIRACLE it might take
to sell our house. You all mean the world to us and
we pray daily for your success and happiness.
It is like the wooden quote Steph gave me I have on my mantle:
JOY IS NOT FOUND IN THINGS...IT IS IN US.
We love you.

Family Fast
This Sunday we are asking that everyone in the family, take the time to fast that Mom and Dad's house might sell. Some of us have fasted in the past, but usually for a number of things, not just one thing in specific. I think that all of us, unified together, fasting for one purpose, with true intent, and sincere purpose, will make a difference. I know we are all out doing different things, and have different circumstances, but I believe the Lord knows the intents of our hearts, and that he will bless us. Please join us in fasting this Sunday and let's see if we can get a miracle! Thanks everyone! Much love!
"We observe that in the scriptures, fasting almost always is linked with prayer. Without prayer, fasting is not complete fasting; it’s simply going hungry. If we want our fasting to be more than just going without eating, we must lift our hearts, our minds, and our voices in communion with our Heavenly Father. Fasting, coupled with mighty prayer, is powerful. It can fill our minds with the revelations of the Spirit. It can strengthen us against times of temptation." James E. Faust
"If we fast..... the Lord promises:
“Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; …
“Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. …
“And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday:
“And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, … and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not” (Isa. 58:8–11)."

Memphis Zoo
The Memphis Zoo was a really wonderful place. I think it rates #1 for our Zoo adventures this year.
And with our going to 4 Zoos in 4 states, that is saying something.
It had lions (which we even witnessed roaring),
polar bears (which we saw being fed), hippo's (which we also saw being fed,it wasn't pretty!.)
and such cute penguins. The sea lion show was great as well. The girls loved it.
Check out the animals that look a lot like Lainey and Grampy.
I guess the question is now, which zoo next?
Lainey's B-day
Such a sweet natured and beautiful 1 year old.
She loved the candies on her cupcakes, and
apparently the trauma of birthday cakes is minor now. lol
Chucky Cheese was a hit I think the kids, all 4 of them, (guess which 4 of us;) )
were very entertained.
It was very worth the drive if only for the squeezes!
