I believe!
This article was on one of my friend's blogs and I thought I would share it, because I do believe in Santa Claus and I hope that you all still believe as well!
The Truth About Santa Claus
"The most stupid falsehood that ever wounded the trusting heart of childhood is the smug "admission" that there is no Santa Clause. When we tell a child that Santa Claus comes on Christmas Eve, we tell a truth so beautiful that it is difficult to believe anyone could do such a wicked thing as to tarnish that truth. Anyone who tells a child that DADDY is Santa Claus is helping to spoil Christmas for the whole world. Daddy indeed! He flatters himself. He may be the finest Daddy in the land - but he isn't Santa Claus. Can Daddy touch the heart of all the world, and for a day make loving kindness bloom where only selfishness and greed appeared before? No; only Santa Claus can do that. And there's a special reason for using jolly old St. Nicholas as the surest symbol of a blessed and very real thing. All our lives, truths are placed before us in symbolic form - not to deceive us, but to impress the truth upon us more convincingly. And, of course, when we are very young we comprehend only what we can see, feel, hear, smell, or taste. Who ever thought a child was being deceived when Mother said - "Bundle up warmly before you go out, or Jack Frost will nip your ears"? The day your child "learns the truth about Santa Claus" should be your opportunity for one of the happiest heart-to-heart talks of a lifetime - your opportunity to teach the deeper, holier truth about Christmas; the truth of the deathless power of love, returning year after year. Hang up a stocking on Christmas Eve? Certainly! Do you dare to say that on that holy night no returning spirit of the Babe of Bethlehem enters your home, blots out unkind thoughts, bids us give gifts as the Wise Men did, and spreads peace on the earth to men of good will? Call the Spirit what you will. Every word we tell the babies is the living blessed truth. It is a Spirit that brings the gifts. . . and for my part I love the dear old name we have always used. I still believe in Santa Claus." -Lionel B. Moses

Courage take, for goodness sake...
All alone we just can't make it.
By ourselves we fall behind.
If we lift and pull together,
we can help each other climb!
We've got father and mother, sister and brother...
Pulling together we can work it out!
Pulling together we can work it out!
I have had this song stuck in my head all day! I can't remember all of the lyrics and couldn't find them on the internet, but I just hope all y'all know how much I love you! Nothing is too hard to handle with the love and strength we give each other! Have an amazing day! Love you!

Halloween Fun!
We had a great time trick or treating and spending time with friends last night for Halloween. We missed all of you terribly and wish we could have all been together! Here is just a glimpse of last night's fun. For many more pictures you can hop on over to our blog! The girls had so much fun and it was awesome to see how much they have grown up since last year! Trick or treating with the kids sure brought back some great memories to me of Halloweens of the past! I hope you all had as much fun as we did!
(She actually talked to people while trick or treating! She really is growing up!)
(In her pictures she is pretty much either laughing hysterically or sleeping! No inbetween!)
(He is getting so big!)

The end of an era....
I have to admit as today's game ended there were tears in my eyes. It may seem silly for me to be so emotional over Trey's high school football career being over, but it is also the end of an era for our family. I can't even remember when the boys began playing football, it was so long ago! I've seen them play pee wee football, middle school football and high school football. When we lived in Marshall and even since we have been gone, I have always loved dressing up in my orange and black and cheering the Marshall Tiger's on to victory. Our amazing brothers Clay and Trey were such a huge impact on the Marshall team and the team was as good as they were because of them. They were both great leaders and tough out on the field. Every time Trey's name is announced over the radio, I can't help but smile. He is all about the game and he rocks that football field every time he steps foot on it. They had some more really nice things to say during today's game, and I wanted to share it with you once again....
Trey Welch
Trey Welch
- "is one of the toughest guys in the business"
- "that's what you are looking for---that little spark, and Trey's got it"
- "has done most of the damage against Hutch"
- Coach Baumann said "There has been a #1 Welch on the team since I've been here. Trey is definitely gonna be missed. He is a tough, hard nosed kid and he adds a lot of character to our team. He competed hard today."
The announcers also said about the team in general....
- "The Tigers did a heck of a job. They dominated in the 3rd quarter and outscored in the 4th quarter."
- "This Tiger team is extra special--especially because of the seniors. They are a very special class."
- "We can't even tell you how much we are gonna miss these seniors."
We are so proud of you Trey and all of your hard work. Anything you put your mind to, we know you can do it! And I guess if you decide not to play in college, then I'll just have to patiently wait till we can outfit Lennon in some football gear! Go Tigers! We love you Trey!

The Radio...
Trey, as usual, had an amazing game last night! The radio announcers always have nice things to say about him, and last night I thought I would write down some of what they had to say, so that all of you could enjoy their thoughts.
"If you have not seen Trey Welch play, you have cheated yourself. HE IS GOOD!!!"
"Trey really came to play tonight!"
"Trey Welch is the best player on this football team!"
Trey Welch is "darn good!"
"Who leads the charge? Trey Welch" (referring to the defense)
We are all so proud of you Trey! You have had one heck of a season! I am so glad we could see you play in a couple of games and that we have the technology that we do, so that I could enjoy the ones I couldn't be at also! You rock! Keep up the good work and kick some derriere in Hutchinson! We love you!

All without a Net!! LOL
The free fall!
The score!
The high spirits!
The sack that clinched the game!
Awesome Game.
GO TIGERS IN PLAYOFFS!
"Trey's tough on both sides of the ball," Bahlmann said.
"He provides us with a physical game all the time.
The Brookings coach thought he was one of the
best backs they'd seen when they watched his film."

has he ever taken a normal picture? I mean really!
But I suppose we wouldn't know it was him otherwise,

Woodchucks
We are down 3 Woodchucks!
Our trapper man (a chubbier MN Leon)
has trapped and taken away 3 so far.
It may be safe for Sully to venture out more soon. LOL
The under our sun porch inhabitors wore out their welcome.
Okay, they are rodents and really NEVER were welcome.
I bid them farewell and since we haven't trapped any
in the last 2 days, maybe they have found a new home.
Trey says they are cute...I think not,
yuck,rodents!
